What is animal communication?

An animal communicator is a someone with the ability to communicate with animals who are currently alive or have passed on.  This skill could potentially help you to decide when it is time to euthanize your pet if the timing isn't clear to you or another family member or even to connect with your pet after the euthanasia.

You as the communicator

If you have worked with the Quality of Life information and scales on this website and you are still unclear about what to do or when, I suggest that before you go to bed one night you ask your pet to show you a sign the next morning.  This could be asked out loud or silently.  Then, look for a subtle change the next day: maybe your pet will make it easy and suddenly begin to eat, or maybe it will cry throughout the night. Most of the time it won't be quite so obvious.  You will have to interpret the response you get.

Contact Claudia Mardel

I met Claudia at the Sunrise Springs Spa in Santa Fe, NM.  I needed to get some help with my University of Florida counseling center  therapy dog, who seemed quite unhappy on the job, a sudden shift for him.  She was amazing and I highly recommend her.  She tells me she feels very confident connecting with a pet and asking and hearing back from them what their preference about euthanasia is. She is a very talented and kind animal lover who studied death and dying in Asia.

Me as the communicator

If you get no response yourself, then allow me to give it a try.  I will ask the same thing of your pet, but it will still be up to you to interpret.  Although I have studied with renowned animal communicator, Penelope Smith and am currently taking a course with Lynn McKenzie, I will only communicate one way with your pet:  asking them to show you a sign, which I can help you interpret if you call me the following day.  It feels somehow wrong for me to "listen" for an answer to give you, since I will be involved with the euthanasia.  I have had a number of animals respond pretty clearly to this.
